Make Art in Any Language

“I highly recommend this camp! My son participated last year and he had a blast. He was excited to go each and every day, it helped him to use his Spanish during the summer months and the quality and quantity of pottery he brought home was amazing! He was so proud of his work!”

I teach all summer clay camps for youth personally. Clay camps are hosted by Concordia University in St. Paul, MN and held in Concordia’s Clay Shop in St. Paul near I-94 and Hamline Ave.

Students ages 6 – 18 have the unique opportunity to work in a university art studio. Clay camps do not occur while Concordia University classes are in session. However, due to the nature of the collective work space, students may benefit from observing advanced students, visiting artists and professors at work in clay.

Clay camps are offered in English or Spanish.

Ages 6-9: Handbuilding

Ages 9-12: Wheel Throwing

Ages 12 – 18: Wheel Throwing

The next round of camps is coming in Summer of 2017.
